During Live Concert Styles Gets Stadium Crowd Chanting “Tina, She’s Gay”
Harry Styles fan Grace Hall-Ramsey has always loved the singer and respected his social outreach. So, when attending his concert at San Jose’s SAP Center the super fan held up a sign that read, “I’m gonna come out to my parents because of you!!!” What happened next, however, was definitely not what Grace could ever have expected in her wildest dreams. Watch for yourself and see.
As shown in the now viral video, Styles (formerly of the band One Direction) read Grace’s sign aloud to the audience. Then, he asked her mom’s name and where she was. Grace shouted that her mom, Tina, was in her hotel room about four miles away. Styles then asked the crowd to get “as quiet as possible” before yelling into his mic, “Tina, she’s gay!”
Pretending to have heard Mom’s response (who of course was too far away to hear), the singer then said “Tina said she loves ya Congratulations.” Then, he got the place rocking in chant, leading the whole crowd with “Tina, she’s gay!”
So, what was Mom’s REAL response when she heard about what had gone on at the show? Grace later shared this post on her Twitter account.
Turns out Harry was pretty close when he guessed Tina’s response. Later, Grace posted the following to Instagram:
“Harry’s shows are an amazing environment where I have felt safe and accepted and last night Harry Styles himself helped me come out to my parents and it is something I will never ever forget.”
Well done, Harry Styles.
