“Letisha Huff is upset that the Prospect Elementary School in Meridian, Idaho, gave her child a flu vaccine without her permission.”
According to the school it was an accident.
There were a number of factors that went into the mishap, including the child being absent on the day permission slips went home, and sharing the same name with another child in the school. But it does beg the question, should vaccinations take place in schools without parents being present?
Huff thinks so. While she is not against vaccinations, she believes they should be done in a doctor’s office where adverse reactions could be dealt with immediately.
What are your thoughts about school vaccination programs?
