“I Didn’t Even Know She Knew How to Use It,” Says Grateful Mom

Three-year-old Molly McCabe was at home with her dad Trevor when he starting convulsing. Undoubtedly frightened, the quick-thinking little girl bravely grabbed her dad’s phone to FaceTime her mom, who was at work at the time.

“She did a FaceTime call, and she was so brave. She told me that daddy got sick, and she showed me where daddy was. I saw him lying on the ground,” said Molly’s mother, Devon McCabe.

Devon was able to quickly call 911. Neighbors rushed over to help with Molly and meet the rescue teams. The next day, Devon shared this Facebook post.

Thanks to Molly’s quick thinking and bravery, her Dad is alive and his condition continues to improve. He spent two long and difficult weeks in the hospital, undergoing surgery, spending time on a ventilator, working on speech and physical therapies.Toddler FaceTimes Saves DadYesterday, though, Devon proudly shared on Facebook that Trevor was finally released from the hospital and headed to rehab.
